Introduction
Our registered users (“Users”) share their professional identities, interact with other Users, exchange knowledge and professional info, share and view relevant content, engage with each other to expand their network, present or find new products or business opportunities (“Services”).
We are an online platform for network development. Users use our Services to find and be found for business opportunities, to connect with others and find information. Our Privacy Policy applies to any User of our Services.

V-Expo Srl will be the controller of your personal data provided to, or collected by or for, or processed in connection with our Services.
As User of our Services, the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to this Privacy Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy, as well as updates.
Change
Changes to the Privacy Policy apply to your use of our Services after the “effective date.”

1) Data we collect
1.1 Data You provide to Us
You provide data to create an account with us. To create an account, you need to provide data including your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password.

2) How we use your data
How we use your personal data will depend on how you use our Services and the choices you make in your settings. 2.1 Services
Our services help you connect with other Users, find and be found for business opportunities and stay informed about sector news and events. We use your data to authorize access to our Services and honour your settings.
Our Services allow you to get in touch with clients, potential clients, partners and other professional contacts. To do so, you can interact with Users who chose or accept to interact with you. Subject to your settings, when you interact with other Users, the only data shared are the ones you gave during registration and the ones you decide to share with the interlocutor (for example in chats). We use your data to allow interaction.
2.2 Communications
We will contact you through email, mobile phone, notices posted on our website or platform. We will send you messages about the availability of our Services, security, or other Service-related issues. We will also send you messages about how to use our Services and promotional messages from us and our partners. You may change your communication preferences at any time. You cannot opt out of receiving service messages from us, including security and legal notices.

We use data (which may include your communications) to investigate, respond to and resolve complaints and for Service issues (e.g. bugs).

3.1 Our services
Any data you include when registering to our Services, the uploaded and downloaded material, and any interaction carried out though our Services will be visible to Users who with you interact consistent with your settings.
We use others to help us provide our Services (e.g. maintenance, analysis, audit, payments, fraud detection, marketing, and development). They will have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.

4.1 Data retention
We generally retain your data as long as you are a User, unless and until you unsubscribe, or as needed to provide you Services or fulfil a contract with you.

- Delete data: you can ask us to erase or delete all or some of your personal data (e.g. if you no longer want Services to be provided to you)

- Right to access and/or take your data: You can ask us for a copy of your personal data and of personal data you provided.
Users can forward such requests to info@v-expo.it and we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws.
4.3 Account closure
After account closure we generally delete your information within 30 days. We retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce an agreement, fulfil your request to unsubscribe from further messages from us. Information you have shared with other Users (e.g. through chat) will remain visible will remain visible after you close your own profile or delete the information and we do not control data that other Users have copied out of our Services.
4.4 Lawful bases for processing
We only collect and process your personal data where we have lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent, were you have given consent, contract, were processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, and legitimate interest.
Where we rely on your consent to process your data, you have the right to withdraw or decline your consent at any time. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object.
4.5 Direct marketing
We do not share personal data with third parties for their direct marketing purposes without your permission.
